Audio Isses is a brainchild of mine, as I want audio enthusiasts to have a solid understanding of the various aspects of producing music. My name is Björgvin Benediktsson. I was born and raised in Iceland, and an SAE Alumni from the SAE Institute in Madrid. Read an interview about me and the functions of Audio Issues here.
I’ve
always loved music and have been an avid guitar player for more than a
decade, releasing an alternative rock album by the age of 19, which
might be among my greatest teenage accomplishments.
The passion for music spurred my interest into the technical
side of things, and in 2006, I began working as a live sound technician
back home in Iceland.
Since then, I've been involved with projects in the field of live sound, for many of the biggest events in Iceland. I have also taught classes on music production and audio engineering, teaching the technical side of recording and mixing.
I am a alumni from the Audio Engineering program at the SAE Institute where I graduated, at the top of my class in 2009. During my studies I received hands-on training in all the aspects of audio engineering and music production, using high quality audio equipment to record and mix various projects and musicians.
I hold the title of "Awesome Author" at AudioTuts+, a highly successful audio production blog, where I contribute tutorials and articles regarding audio engineering and music mixing.
Other contributions include various columns and articles for RAE Magazine, which is a great educational website dedicated to teaching you how to play the guitar.
This web page is a tool to further research and share my knowledge with you readers out there. I use the services of Site Build It! in order to create a fully functional search engine friendly web business. The services of SBI! have helped me use the knowledge of audio engineering and production to create an infopreneurial website dedicated to inform and enlighten interested readers in their production.
This site is affiliated with online stores such as Amazon, zZounds and Music123.com. They are online stores that I like to use when I have products that
I think might be beneficial to you. I therefore link to those products
from this site to theirs.
I do this in order for you readers to get
more information about the product I am discussing and if you like what
you see, you can buy it through them.
Please help out Audio Issues by buying through the links on this site. Without any extra charge to you, you will be lending a helping hand in the development of this site.
I hope you enjoy what you learn from this site. Thanks for visiting.
