Pro Tools m powered
For users that absolutely love Pro Tools but don't like the monopoly that Digidesign seems to exert over their software, there is a separate option to consider. Pro Tools M Powered is a version of Pro Tools that works with any audio interface from M-Audio.
Since M-Audio is a division of Avid entertainment, that owns Digidesign we have an especially good collaboration going on for you M-Audio fans.
Read all about the features Pro Tools M-powered has below. It doesn't have any extra features that the normal LE version doesn't have, but the flexibility of being able to buy interfaces from M-Audio is what sells most consumers this particular version.
This is great if you like the sound of your specific M-Audio interface, or already own a M-Audio interface but want to give Pro Tools a try. All the pros of the interface you know with the industry standard recording software everybody else knows.
There are many M-Audio fans out there, me being a special fan of their Bx5a Deluxe monitors, that swear by their M-Audio products. So if you are one of those fans that love the M-audio interfaces, be sure to give Pro Tools M-Powered a try.
