RUNAWAY SOUNDMAN

I play in a rock cover/originals band. I had the displeasure of working with a soundman in a small club near my hometown. His overconfidence must have overtaken his ability to stay near the mixing console.

My bandmates and I were constantly asking him for monitor adjustments and every time we yelled for him he was at the bar having a beer and conversation. How rude!!

Always stay at your station. If you have to leave for any reason be sure you have a responsible technician/engineer watch the console.
